रावणवधदर्शनम्

Lament of the Rākṣasa Women upon Seeing Rāvaṇa Slain

न कामकारःकामंवातवराक्षसपुङ्गव ।दैवंचेष्टयतेसर्वंहतंदैवेनहन्यते ।।।।

na kāmakāraḥ kāmaṃ vā tava rākṣasapuṅgava | daivaṃ ceṣṭayate sarvaṃ hataṃ daivena hanyate ||

ഹേ രാക്ഷസപുങ്ഗവ, സ്വേച്ഛയും വെറും ആഗ്രഹവും മാത്രം ജയിക്കുന്നില്ല; എല്ലാം ദൈവം തന്നെയാണ് നടത്തുന്നത്. ദൈവം അടിച്ചവനെ ദൈവം തന്നെയാണ് സംഹരിക്കുന്നത്.
