यस्यवाजेषुपवनःफलेपावकभास्करौ ।शरीरमाकाशमयंगौरवेमेरुमन्दरौ ।।।।
yasya vājeṣu pavanaḥ phale pāvaka-bhāskarau |
śarīram ākāśamayaṃ gaurave meru-mandarau ||
ആ അമ്പിന്റെ തൂവലുകളിൽ പവനൻ അധിഷ്ഠാതാവായിരുന്നു; അതിന്റെ അഗ്രത്തിൽ അഗ്നിയും സൂര്യനും അധിഷ്ഠാതാക്കളായിരുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ദേഹം ആകാശമയമായിരുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ഭാരവും ഗുരുത്വവും മേരുവും മന്ദരവും ആയിരുന്നു.
The wind god presided over its feathers, the fire god and the Sun god presided over its head, its energy was presided over by Meru and Mandara mountains and its weight by the sky.
