अथसंस्मारयामासमातलिराघवंतदा ।अजानन्निवकिंवीरत्वमेनमनुवर्तसे ।।।।

atha saṃsmārayāmāsa mātali rāghavaṃ tadā | ajānann iva kiṃ vīra tvam enam anuvartase ||

അപ്പോൾ മാതലി രാഘവനെ ഓർമ്മിപ്പിച്ചു: “ഹേ വീരാ, നീ അറിയാത്തവനെന്നപോലെ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ഈ വഴിയെ പിന്തുടരുന്നു?”
