नैव रात्रिं न दिवसंमुहूर्तं न च क्षणम् ।रामरावणयोर्युद्धंविराममुपगच्छति ।।।।
naiva rātriṃ na divasaṃ muhūrtaṃ na ca kṣaṇam |
rāmarāvaṇayor yuddhaṃ virāmam upagacchati ||
രാത്രിയിലോ പകലിലോ—ഒരു മുഹൂർത്തം പോലും, ഒരു ക്ഷണം പോലും—രാമനും രാവണനും തമ്മിലുള്ള യുദ്ധം ഒരിക്കലും ഇടവേളയിലേക്കു പോയില്ല.
