raudraṃ varjayatā khedaṃ kṣamaṃ kṛtam idaṃ mayā ||

Translation

നിനക്കു വിശ്രമം ലഭിക്കാനും, ഈ രഥത്തിലെ കുതിരകൾക്കും കടുത്ത അധ്വാനത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ക്ഷീണക്ലേശം ഒഴിവാക്കാനും വേണ്ടിയാണ് ഞാൻ ഇത് ചെയ്തത്; ഈ പ്രവൃത്തിക്ക് എന്നെ ക്ഷമിക്കണമേ.
