रावणक्रोधः—रामस्य परुषवाक्यम्
Ravana’s Fury and Rama’s Harsh Admonition
स दीप्तनयनोरोषाच्चापमायाम्यवीर्यवान् ।अभ्यर्दयत्सुसङ्कृद्धोराघवंपरमाहवे ।।6.105.2।।बाणधारसहस्रैस्तैस्सतोयदइवाम्बरात् ।राघवंरावणोबाणैस्तटकमिवपूरयन् ।।6.105.3।।
bāṇadhāra-sahasrais tais sa-toyad iva ambarāt |
rāghavaṁ rāvaṇo bāṇais taḍākam iva pūrayan ||
അപ്പോൾ രാവണൻ ആകാശത്തിൽ നിന്ന് മഴമേഘങ്ങൾപോലെ ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് അമ്പധാരകൾ ചൊരിഞ്ഞു; രാഘവന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ആകാശമണ്ഡലം അമ്പുകളാൽ നിറച്ചു—കുളം വെള്ളംകൊണ്ട് നിറയ്ക്കുന്നതുപോലെ.
