रावणक्रोधः—रामस्य परुषवाक्यम्

Ravana’s Fury and Rama’s Harsh Admonition

उत्सेकानाभिपन्नस्यगर्हितस्याहितस्य च ।कर्मणःप्राप्नुहीदानांतस्याद्यसुमहत्फलम् ।।।।

utsekānābhipannasya garhitasya ahitasya ca |

karmaṇaḥ prāpnuhī dānīṃ tasyādya sumahat phalam ||

അഹങ്കാരത്തിൽ മദിച്ചവനേ, നിന്ദ്യവും ഹിതവിരുദ്ധവും ആയ കർമ്മം ചെയ്തവനേ! ഇപ്പോൾ, ഇന്നുതന്നെ, ആ കർമ്മത്തിന്റെ അതിമഹത്തായ ഫലം പ്രാപിക്ക.
