रावणक्रोधः—रामस्य परुषवाक्यम्

Ravana’s Fury and Rama’s Harsh Admonition

भिन्नमर्यादनिर्लज्ज चारित्रेष्वनवस्थित ।दर्पान्मृत्युमुपादायशूरोऽहमितिमन्यसे ।।।।

bhinnamaryāda nirlajja cāritreṣv anavasthita |

darpān mṛtyum upādāya śūro 'ham iti manyase ||

മര്യാദ തകർത്തവനേ, നിർലജ്ജനേ, സദാചാരത്തിൽ അസ്ഥിരനേ! അഹങ്കാരത്താൽ മരണത്തിലേക്ക് പാഞ്ഞിട്ടും ‘ഞാൻ ശൂരൻ’ എന്നു കരുതുന്നുവോ?
