Transliteration

ehy ehīti bravīd rāmo lakṣmaṇaṃ paravīrahā | sasvaje snehagāḍhaṃ ca bāṣpaparyākulekṣaṇaḥ ||

Translation

പരവീരഹാ രാമൻ ലക്ഷ്മണനോട് “വാ, വാ!” എന്നു വിളിച്ചു; കണ്ണുകൾ കണ്ണുനീരാൽ മൂടപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കെ, ഗാഢസ്നേഹത്തോടെ അവനെ ശക്തമായി ആലിംഗനം ചെയ്തു.
