तदस्त्रंनिहतंदृष्टवारामेणाक्लिष्टकर्मणा ।।6.100.49।।हृष्टानेदुस्ततःसर्वेकपयःकामरूपिणः ।सुग्रीवप्रमुखावीराःसम्परिक्षिप्यराघवम् ।।6.100.50।।
tad astraṃ nihataṃ dṛṣṭvā rāmeṇākliṣṭakarmaṇā ||6.100.49||
hṛṣṭā nedus tataḥ sarve kapayaḥ kāmarūpiṇaḥ |
sugrīvapramukhā vīrāḥ samparikṣipya rāghavam ||6.100.50||
അക്ലിഷ്ടകർമ്മനായ രാമൻ ആ അസ്ത്രം നിഷ്ഫലമാക്കിയതു കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, കാമരൂപികളായ സർവ്വ വാനരന്മാർ ആനന്ദത്തോടെ ആർത്തുചെയ്തു; സുഗ്രീവപ്രമുഖ വീരന്മാർ രാഘവനെ ചുറ്റിനിന്നു.
