इत्येवमुक्त्वासुरसैन्यनाशनोमहाबलस्संयतिचण्डविक्रमः ।दशाननोभ्रातरमाप्तवादिनंविसर्जयामासतदाविभीषणम् ।।।।

Transliteration

ity evam uktvā surasainyanāśano mahābalaḥ saṁyati caṇḍavikramaḥ |

daśānano bhrātaram āptavādinaṁ visarjayāmāsa tadā vibhīṣaṇam ||

Translation

ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ ശേഷം, ദേവസൈന്യനാശകനായി പ്രസിദ്ധനും മഹാബലവാനും യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഭീകരവിക്രമനുമായ ദശാനനൻ രാവണൻ, വിശ്വസനീയവും ഹിതകരവുമായ ഉപദേശം പറഞ്ഞ തന്റെ സഹോദരൻ വിഭീഷണനെ അപ്പോൾ വിട്ടയച്ചു.
