इन्द्रियाणीन्द्रियार्थैस्तु पञ्च पञ्चभिरुत्तमैः।तर्पयामास मातेव तदा रावणपालिता।।5.9.30।।
indriyāṇīndriyārthais tu pañca pañcabhir uttamaiḥ |
tarpayāmāsa māteva tadā rāvaṇapālitā ||5.9.30||
അപ്പോൾ രാവണൻ പരിപാലിച്ചിരുന്ന ആ അന്തഃപുരം അമ്മപോലെ, ഉത്തമമായ അഞ്ചു വിഷയങ്ങളാൽ അഞ്ചു ഇന്ദ്രിയങ്ങളെയും തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതുപോലെ തോന്നി.
