Description of the Pushpaka Vimana and Ravana’s Inner Palace
धूम्रामगरुधूपेन विमलां हंसपाण्डुराम्।चित्रां पुष्पोपहारेण कल्माषीमिव सुप्रभाम्।।5.9.28।।
dhūmrām agarudhūpena vimalāṃ haṃsapāṇḍurām |
citrāṃ puṣpopahāreṇa kalmāṣīm iva suprabhām ||5.9.28||
അഗരു ധൂപത്തിന്റെ പുകകൊണ്ട് മങ്ങിയതുപോലെയിരുന്നാലും അത് നിർമലമായി ഹംസപാണ്ഡുരമായിരുന്നു; പുഷ്പോപഹാരങ്ങളാൽ വർണവൈവിധ്യം കൈവരിച്ചു ദീപ്തിയായി തിളങ്ങി—പ്രസിദ്ധമായ കാമധേനു ‘കൽമാഷി’യെപ്പോലെ.
It was smoky with fumes of agaru incence though spotless like a swan. It was colourful and radiant like Kamadhenu, the wish-fulfilling cow, because of the offering of flowers.
