महत्या कुथयास्तीर्णां पृथिवीलक्षणाङ्कया।पृथिवीमिव विस्तीर्णां सराष्ट्रगृहमालिनीम्।।5.9.26।।

Transliteration

mahatyā kuthayāstīrṇāṃ pṛthivīlakṣaṇāṅkayā |

pṛthivīm iva vistīrṇāṃ sarāṣṭragṛhamālinīm ||5.9.26||

Translation

ഭൂമിയുടെ ലക്ഷണചിഹ്നങ്ങളാൽ അങ്കിതമായ മഹത്തായ പരവതാനി അവിടെ വിരിച്ചിരുന്നതു; ഭൂമിയേ തന്നെ വ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, രാജ്യങ്ങളും നഗരങ്ങളും ഗൃഹങ്ങളും മാലപോലെ നിരനിരയായി തെളിഞ്ഞു നിന്നു.
