अयं हि जलसम्भूतो मणिस्सज्जनपूजितः।यज्ञे परमतुष्टेन दत्तश्शक्रेण धीमता।।।।

Transliteration

ayaṃ hi jalasambhūto maṇiḥ sajjanapūjitaḥ |

yajñe paramatuṣṭena dattaḥ śakreṇa dhīmatā ||

Translation

ഈ മണി ജലത്തിൽ നിന്നു ജനിച്ചതും സജ്ജനർ പൂജിക്കുന്നതുമാണ്. യജ്ഞത്തിൽ പരമസന്തുഷ്ടനായ ബുദ്ധിമാൻ ശക്രനായ ഇന്ദ്രൻ ഇതു ജനകനു ദാനം ചെയ്തു; അതിനാൽ ഇത് വംശത്തിന്റെ മാന്യനിധിയായി മാറി.
