मणिरत्नमिदं दत्तं वैदेह्याश्श्वशुरेण मे।वधूकाले यथाबद्धमधिकं मूर्ध्नि शोभते।।।।

Transliteration

maṇi-ratnam idaṃ dattaṃ vaidehyāḥ śvaśureṇa me |

vadhū-kāle yathābaddham adhikaṃ mūrdhni śobhate ||

Translation

ഈ മണിരത്നം വൈദേഹിക്കു അവളുടെ ശ്വശുരൻ എനിക്കു ദാനമായി നൽകിയതാണ്; വിവാഹസമയത്ത് എങ്ങനെ ബന്ധിച്ചിരുന്നുവോ അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ അവളുടെ ശിരസ്സിൽ അതിവിശേഷം ശോഭിച്ചു.
