मधुवनभङ्गः

The Disruption of Madhuvana and Dadhimukha’s Complaint

इष्टं मधुवनं ह्येतत्पार्थिवस्य महात्मनः।पितृपैतामहं दिव्यं देवैरपि दुरासदम्।।5.62.33।।

iṣṭaṃ madhuvanaṃ hy etat pārthivasya mahātmanaḥ | pitṛpaitāmahaṃ divyaṃ devair api durāsadam ||

ഈ മധുവനമാണ് മഹാത്മാവായ പാർത്ഥിവരാജാവിന് അത്യന്തം പ്രിയം—പിതൃപൈതാമഹപരമ്പരയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ദിവ്യവും അത്ഭുതവുമായ ഉപവനം; ദേവന്മാർക്കും പ്രവേശനം ദുഷ്കരം.
