अङ्गदवाक्यम्—सीताहरण-प्रतिवेदन-धर्मविचारः

Angada’s Counsel on Reporting Without Sita

दृष्टा देवी न चानीता इति तत्र निवेदनम्।।।।अयुक्तमिव पश्यामि भवद्भिः ख्यातविक्रमैः।

dṛṣṭā devī na cānītā iti tatra nivedanam |

ayuktam iva paśyāmi bhavadbhiḥ khyātavikramaiḥ ||

“ദേവിയെ കണ്ടു, പക്ഷേ കൊണ്ടുവന്നില്ല” എന്നിങ്ങനെ അവിടെ അറിയിക്കൽ—വിക്രമത്തിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധരായ നിങ്ങളാൽ—എനിക്ക് അന്യായമായതായി തോന്നുന്നു.
