The Burning Tail and the Parade through Laṅkā
चत्वरेषु चतुष्केषु राजमार्गे तथैव च।।5.53.22।।घोषयन्ति कपिं सर्वे चारीक इति राक्षसाः।
catvareṣu catuṣkeṣu rāja-mārge tathaiva ca | ghoṣayanti kapiṃ sarve cārīka iti rākṣasāḥ ||5.53.22||
ചത്വരങ്ങളിലും നാലുസ്തംഭചതുരസന്ധികളിലും രാജമാർഗ്ഗത്തിലും എല്ലാരാക്ഷസരും വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു—“ഈ കപി ചാരികൻ, അഥവാ ചാരൻ.”
