दूतधर्म-परामर्शः

Envoy-Immunity and Royal Counsel in Ravana’s Court

तस्मात्प्रसीद शत्रुघ्न राक्षसेन्द्र दुरासद।युक्तायुक्तं विनिश्चित्य दूतदण्डो विधीयताम्।।।।

tasmāt prasīda śatrughna rākṣasendra durāsada |

yuktāyuktaṃ viniścitya dūtadaṇḍo vidhīyatām ||

അതുകൊണ്ട് ശാന്തനാകുക, ഹേ ശത്രുഘ്നാ, ഹേ ദുർജയനായ രാക്ഷസേന്ദ്രാ; യുക്തി-അയുക്തി നിർണ്ണയിച്ച് ദൂതനു യോജ്യമായ ദണ്ഡം വിധിക്കപ്പെടട്ടെ.
