तं मत्तमिव मातङ्गं बद्धं कपिवरोत्तमम्।राक्षसा राक्षसेन्द्राय रावणाय न्यवेदयन्।।।।
taṃ mattam iva mātaṅgaṃ baddhaṃ kapi-varottamam |
rākṣasā rākṣasendrāya rāvaṇāya nyavedayan ||
ബന്ധിതനായിട്ടും മദിച്ച ആനയെപ്പോലെ അപ്രതിരോധ്യമായ വീര്യത്തോടെ നിലകൊള്ളുന്ന ആ കപിവരോത്തമനെ രാക്ഷസർ രാക്ഷസേന്ദ്രനായ രാവണനു മുന്നിൽ സമർപ്പിച്ചു.
