ततस्तु रक्षोधिपतिर्महात्मा हनूमताक्षे निहते कुमारे।मनस्समाधाय सदेवकल्पं समादिदेशेन्द्रजितं सरोषः।।।।

tatastu rakṣodhipatir mahātmā hanūmatākṣe nihate kumāre |

manas samādhāya sadevakalpaṃ samādideśendrajitaṃ saroṣaḥ ||5.48.1||

അപ്പോൾ മഹാത്മാവായ രാക്ഷസാധിപൻ, ഹനുമാൻ കുമാരൻ അക്ഷനെ വധിച്ചതിൽ ക്രോധിച്ച്, മനസ്സിനെ സമാധാനപ്പെടുത്തി, ദേവസദൃശനായ ഇന്ദ്രജിത്തിനോട് ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചു.
