षट्चत्वारिंशः सर्गः

Ravana Deploys Five Generals; Hanuman Destroys the Commanders and the Remaining Host

ततस्तं ददृशुर्वीरा दीप्यमानं महाकपिम्।।5.46.17।।रश्मिमन्तमिवोद्यन्तं स्वतेजोरश्मिमालिनम्।तोरणस्थं महोत्साहं महासत्त्वं महाबलम्।।5.46.18।।

tatas taṃ dadṛśur vīrā dīpyamānaṃ mahākapim ||5.46.17|| raśmimantam ivodyantaṃ svatejo-raśmimālinam | toraṇasthaṃ mahotsāhaṃ mahāsattvaṃ mahābalam ||5.46.18||

അപ്പോൾ ആ വീരരാക്ഷസർ ആ മഹാകപിയെ ദർശിച്ചു—ദീപ്തിമാൻ, സ്വന്തം തേജസ്സിന്റെ കിരണവലയത്തിൽ വലയംചെയ്യപ്പെട്ട ഉദയസൂര്യനെപ്പോലെ; തോരണത്തിൽ നിൽക്കുന്ന, മഹോത്സാഹവും ഉന്നതബുദ്ധിയും അപാരബലവും ഉള്ളവൻ।
