Ravana Deploys Five Generals; Hanuman Destroys the Commanders and the Remaining Host
ततस्तं ददृशुर्वीरा दीप्यमानं महाकपिम्।।5.46.17।।रश्मिमन्तमिवोद्यन्तं स्वतेजोरश्मिमालिनम्।तोरणस्थं महोत्साहं महासत्त्वं महाबलम्।।5.46.18।।
tatas taṃ dadṛśur vīrā dīpyamānaṃ mahākapim ||5.46.17|| raśmimantam ivodyantaṃ svatejo-raśmimālinam | toraṇasthaṃ mahotsāhaṃ mahāsattvaṃ mahābalam ||5.46.18||
അപ്പോൾ ആ വീരരാക്ഷസർ ആ മഹാകപിയെ ദർശിച്ചു—ദീപ്തിമാൻ, സ്വന്തം തേജസ്സിന്റെ കിരണവലയത്തിൽ വലയംചെയ്യപ്പെട്ട ഉദയസൂര്യനെപ്പോലെ; തോരണത്തിൽ നിൽക്കുന്ന, മഹോത്സാഹവും ഉന്നതബുദ്ധിയും അപാരബലവും ഉള്ളവൻ।
The heroic giants caught sight of the vanara, who was blazing encircled as though he was by the rays of his own glory, looking like the rising Sun. He was endowed with extraordinary agility, intelligence, and tremendous strength standing, waiting at the archway.
