The Token of Recognition (Chūḍāmaṇi) and the Crow Episode Recalled
केन ते नागनासोरु विक्षतं वै स्तनान्तरम्।।5.38.26।।कः क्रीडति सरोषेण पञ्चवक्त्रेण भोगिना।
kena te nāganāsoru vikṣataṃ vai stanāntaram || 5.38.26 ||
kaḥ krīḍati saroṣeṇa pañcavaktreṇa bhoginā |
“ഹേ നാഗനാസോരു (ആനത്തുടയുള്ളവളേ), നിന്റെ സ്തനാന്തരം ആരാൽ മുറിവേറ്റു? ക്രോധിതനായ പഞ്ചവക്ത്ര ഭോഗിസർപ്പത്തോടു ഇങ്ങനെ ധിക്കാരമായി കളിക്കുന്നത് ആര്?”
