The Token of Recognition (Chūḍāmaṇi) and the Crow Episode Recalled
ततस्समुक्षितो रामो मुक्तैश्शोणितबिन्दुभिः।
वायसेन ततस्तेन बलवत्क्लिश्यमानया।।5.38.24।।
स मया बोधितश्श्रीमान्सुखसुप्तः परन्तपः।
tataḥ samukṣito rāmo muktaiḥ śoṇitabindubhiḥ |
vāyasena tatas tena balavat kliśyamānayā || 5.38.24 ||
sa mayā bodhitaḥ śrīmān sukhasuptaḥ parantapaḥ |
അപ്പോൾ വീണ രക്തബിന്ദുക്കൾ രാമനിൽ തളിച്ചു. ആ കാക്ക എന്നെ ക്രൂരമായി പീഡിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ, സുഖനിദ്രയിൽ ആയിരുന്ന ശ്രിമാൻ പരന്തപനായ രാമനെ ഞാൻ ഉണർത്തി.
