The Token of Recognition (Chūḍāmaṇi) and the Crow Episode Recalled

उत्कर्षन्त्यां च रशनां क्रुद्धायां मयि पक्षिणि।स्रस्यमाने च वसने ततो दृष्टा त्वया ह्यहम्।।5.38.17।।

srasyamāne ca vasane tato dṛṣṭā tvayā hy aham || 5.38.17 ||

ആ പക്ഷിയാൽ ക്രുദ്ധയായ ഞാൻ അരക്കയർ വലിച്ചുയർത്തുമ്പോൾ വസ്ത്രം വഴുതിപ്പോകുകയായിരുന്നു; അപ്പോൾ തന്നെയാണ് നീ എന്നെ കണ്ടത്.
