Hanuman’s Offer of Rescue and Sita’s Dharmic Refusal
त्वां हि पृष्ठगतां कृत्वा सन्तरिष्यामि सागरम्।शक्तिरस्ति हि मे वोढुं लङ्कामपि सरावणाम् ।।।।
tvāṃ hi pṛṣṭhagatāṃ kṛtvā santariṣyāmi sāgaram |
śaktir asti hi me voḍhuṃ laṅkām api sarāvaṇām ||
നിന്നെ എന്റെ പുറത്ത് ഇരുത്തി ഞാൻ സമുദ്രം കടക്കും; സത്യമായി, രാവണനോടുകൂടി ലങ്കയെയും വഹിക്കാനുള്ള ശക്തി എനിക്കുണ്ട്.
