हतेऽसुरे संयति शम्बसादने कपिप्रवीरेण महर्षिचोदनात्।ततोऽस्मि वायुप्रभवो हि मैथिलि प्रभावतस्तत्प्रतिमश्च वानरः।।।।
hate 'sure saṁyati śambasādane kapipravīreṇa maharṣi-codanāt |
tato 'smi vāyu-prabhavo hi maithili prabhāvatas tat-pratimaś ca vānaraḥ ||
ഹേ മൈഥിലീ, മഹർഷിയുടെ പ്രേരണയാൽ കപിപ്രവീരൻ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ശംബസാദനൻ എന്ന അസുരനെ വധിച്ചപ്പോൾ, അതിനുശേഷം ഞാൻ വായുദേവന്റെ പുത്രനായി ജനിച്ചു. പ്രഭാവത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അവനോട് തുല്യനായ വാനരനാണ്.
"(My father) a mighty monkey killed Sambasadana in a battle on the command of a great seer. I am a vanara (born to a monkey) by the impact of the Wind-god. I am equal to the Wind-god in power."ইত্যার্ষে শ্রীমদ্রামাযণে বাল্মীকীয আদিকাব্যে সুন্দরকাণ্ডে পঞ্চত্রিংশস্সর্গঃ৷৷Thus ends the thirtyfifth sarga of Sundarakanda of the holy Ramayana, the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.
Truthful self-disclosure in a righteous mission: Hanumān establishes his identity and capability honestly so that Sītā may trust a messenger acting for dharma.
In the Aśoka grove, Hanumān continues to reassure Sītā by stating his lineage and prowess, strengthening the credibility of Rāma’s envoy.
Satya (truthfulness) joined with śaurya (valor): Hanumān presents verifiable identity and strength without deceit, to protect Sītā and serve Rāma’s cause.
