अङ्गदोऽकथयत्तस्य जनस्थाने महद्वधम्।रक्षसा भीमरूपेण त्वामुद्दिश्य यथातथम्।।5.35.65।।

aṅgado 'kathayat tasya janasthāne mahadvadham | rakṣasā bhīmarūpeṇa tvām uddiśya yathātatham ||5.35.65||

അംഗദൻ ജനസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ നടന്ന മഹാവധം അവനോട് പറഞ്ഞു—ഭീകരരൂപനായ ഒരു രാക്ഷസൻ നിന്നെ ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി, സംഭവിച്ചതുപോലെ സത്യമായി വിവരിച്ച്, അവനെ വധിച്ചതെന്ന്.
