Sita Tests the Messenger; Hanuman Offers Reassurance
अहो धिग्दुष्कृतमिदं कथितं हि यदस्य मे।रूपान्तरमुपागम्य स एवायं हि रावणः।।।।
aho dhig duṣkṛtam idaṃ kathitaṃ hi yad asya me |
rūpāntaram upāgamya sa evāyaṃ hi rāvaṇaḥ ||
അയ്യോ, എനിക്കെത്ര ലജ്ജ! പറയരുതായിരുന്നതു ഞാൻ അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞുപോയി. മറ്റൊരു രൂപം ധരിച്ചു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നവൻ നിശ്ചയമായും ആ രാവണൻ തന്നെയാണ്.
