Sītā’s Perplexity and Recognition of Hanumān
सा तं समीक्ष्यैव भृशं विसंज्ञा गतासुकल्पेन बभूव सीता।चिरेण संज्ञां प्रतिलभ्य भूयो विचिन्तयामास विशालनेत्रा।।।।
sā taṁ samīkṣyaiva bhṛśaṁ visaṁjñā gatāsukalpena babhūva sītā |
cireṇa saṁjñāṁ pratilabhya bhūyo vicintayāmāsa viśālanetrā ||
അവനെ കണ്ട മാത്രത്തിൽ തന്നെ സീത അത്യന്തം മൂർച്ച്ഛിച്ചു; ജീവൻ തന്നെ വിട്ടുപോകുന്നതുപോലെ ആയി. ഏറെ കഴിഞ്ഞ് ബോധം വീണ്ടെടുത്തു, വിശാലനേത്രയായ ദേവി വീണ്ടും ചിന്തിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി.
Overcome with sorrow and fear, noble Sita sobbed pitiably muttering repeatedly. 'O Rama, O Rama, O Lakshmana'.
