Sītā’s Perplexity and Recognition of Hanumān

मैथिली चिन्तयामास विस्मयं परमं गता।अहो भीममिदं रूपं वानरस्य दुरासदम्।।।।दुर्निरीक्षमिति ज्ञात्वा पुनरेव मुमोह सा।

maithilī cintayāmāsa vismayaṁ paramaṁ gatā |

aho bhīmam idaṁ rūpaṁ vānarasya durāsadam ||

durnirīkṣam iti jñātvā punar eva mumoha sā |

മൈഥിലി അത്യന്തം വിസ്മയത്തിലായി ചിന്തിച്ചു: “അയ്യോ! ഈ വാനരന്റെ രൂപം ഭയങ്കരം; സമീപിക്കാനും പ്രയാസം, നോക്കാനും ദുഷ്കരം.” ഇങ്ങനെ കരുതി അവൾ വീണ്ടും മൂർച്ച്ഛിച്ചു വീണു.
