सीताविलापः

Sita’s Lament amid Rākṣasī Threats

जीवितं त्यक्तुमिच्छामि शोकेन महता वृता।राक्षसीभिश्च रक्षन्त्या रामो नासाद्यते मया।।5.25.19।।

jīvitaṃ tyaktum icchāmi śokena mahatā vṛtā | rākṣasībhiś ca rakṣantyā rāmo nāsādyate mayā || 5.25.19 ||

മഹാശോകത്തിൽ മൂടപ്പെട്ട ഞാൻ ജീവൻ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു; ഈ രാക്ഷസിമാരുടെ കാവലിൽ ഞാൻ രാമനെ സമീപിക്കുവാൻ കഴിയുന്നില്ല.
