Strong-armed Hanuman climbed up the simsupa tree shining with flowers on its top and surrounded by tender sprouts and leaves. (He said to himself):
Dharma here is expressed as disciplined, purposeful action in service of a righteous mission: Hanumān chooses a vantage point carefully, acting with restraint and attentiveness rather than haste.
In Laṅkā, Hanumān enters the Aśoka-grove region and climbs a flowering śiṃśupā tree to observe discreetly, hoping to find Sītā.
Prudence and vigilance (sāvadhānatā): he positions himself strategically to search effectively while minimizing risk.
