Transliteration

mahālatānāṃ dāmāni vyathamat tarasā kapiḥ |

yathā prāvṛṣi vindhyasya meghajālāni mārutaḥ ||

Translation

മഹാബലത്തോടെ ആ കപി മഹാലതകളുടെ മാലകളെ ആടിച്ചുലച്ചു; പ്രാവൃഷ്കാലത്ത് വിന്ധ്യപർവതത്തിനുമേൽ കാറ്റ് മേഘക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളെ തള്ളിയാടിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ.
