समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः
Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
कुरु साचिव्यमस्माकं न नः कार्यमतिक्रमेत्।।।।कर्तव्यमकृतं कार्यं सतां मन्युमुदीरयेत्।
kuru sācivyam asmākaṃ na naḥ kāryam atikramet | kartavyam akṛtaṃ kāryaṃ satāṃ manyum udīrayet ||
ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ഉപദേശകനായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കൂ; ഞങ്ങളുടെ കാര്യം കൈവിട്ടുപോകാതിരിക്കട്ടെ. ചെയ്യേണ്ട കര്ത്തവ്യം ചെയ്യാതെയിരുന്നാൽ സജ്ജനരുടെ മനസ്സിൽ കോപം ഉണരും.
