समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः
Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
आनुपूर्व्येण वृत्तं च लाङ्गूलं लोमभिश्चितम्।उत्पतिष्यन् विचिक्षेप पक्षिराज इवोरगम्।।।।
ānupūrvyeṇa vṛttaṃ ca lāṅgūlaṃ lomabhiś citam | utpatiṣyan vicikṣepa pakṣirāja ivoragam ||
ചാടിപ്പറക്കാൻ ഒരുങ്ങുമ്പോൾ, രോമസമൃദ്ധവും വളവുകളായി ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ടതുമായ തന്റെ വാൽ ക്രമമായി വീശി—പക്ഷിരാജനായ ഗരുഡൻ സർപ്പത്തെ കുലുക്കുന്നതുപോലെ.
