Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
घनराजीव गर्जन्ती वानरं समभिद्रवत्।।।।स ददर्श ततस्तस्या विवृतं सुमहन्मुखम्।कायमात्रं च मेधावी मर्माणि च महाकपिः।।।।
ghanarājīva garjantī vānaraṃ samabhidravat |
sa dadarśa tatas tasyā vivṛtaṃ sumahanmukham |
kāyamātraṃ ca medhāvī marmāṇi ca mahākapiḥ ||
ഘനമേഘസമൂഹംപോലെ ഗർജ്ജിച്ച് സിംഹിക വാനരനെ ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി പാഞ്ഞുവന്നു. അപ്പോൾ മേധാവിയായ മഹാകപി അവളുടെ അതിവിശാലമായി തുറന്ന വായ് കണ്ടു; അവളുടെ ദേഹത്തിലെ മർമ്മസ്ഥാനങ്ങളും തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞു।
