समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः

Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing

ततस्तेषु प्रयातेषु देवसङ्घा: महर्षिभिः।भूतानि च भयं जग्मुस्तेषां पतनशङ्कया।।।

tatas teṣu prayāteṣu deva-saṅghā maharṣibhiḥ | bhūtāni ca bhayaṃ jagmus teṣāṃ patana-śaṅkayā ||

അവർ അവിടെവിടെ സഞ്ചരിച്ചപ്പോൾ മഹർഷിമാരോടുകൂടിയ ദേവഗണങ്ങളും മറ്റു ഭൂതപ്രാണികളും പർവ്വതങ്ങൾ പതിച്ച് നാശം വരുത്തുമോ എന്ന ആശങ്കകൊണ്ട് ഭീതിയിലായി.
