रामदर्शनार्थं दारानयनम्

The Queens Summoned; Rama’s Leave-Taking and Dasaratha’s Collapse

स राजा पुत्रमायान्तं दृष्ट्वा दूरात्कृताञ्जलिम्।उत्पपातासनात्तूर्णमार्त स्त्रीजनसंवृतः।।।।

sa rājā putram āyāntaṃ dūrāt dṛṣṭvā kṛtāñjalim |

utpapātāsanāt tūrṇam ārtaḥ strījanasaṃvṛtaḥ ||

ദൂരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് കൈകൂപ്പി വരുന്നതായ പുത്രനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, ദുഃഖാകുലനായി അന്തഃപുരസ്ത്രീകളാൽ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ട രാജാവ് ഉടൻ തന്നെ ആസനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് എഴുന്നേറ്റു.
