लक्ष्मणक्रोधः—दैवपुरुषकारविवादः

येनेय मागता द्वैधं तव बुद्धिर्महामते।स हि धर्मो मम द्वेष्यः प्रसङ्गाद्यस्य मुह्यसि।।।।

yeneyaṃ āgatā dvaidhaṃ tava buddhir mahāmate | sa hi dharmo mama dveṣyaḥ prasaṅgād yasya muhyasi ||

മഹാമതേ! ഏത് ‘ധർമ്മം’ കൊണ്ടാണ് നിന്റെ ബുദ്ധി ഈ ദ്വന്ദ്വത്തിലേക്ക് വീണത്, അതിന്റെ സമ്മർദ്ദത്തിൽ നീ മോഹിതനാകുന്നതോ—അത്തരം ധർമ്മം എനിക്ക് ദ്വേഷ്യമാണ്.
