Withdrawal of the Coronation: Rama’s Counsel to Lakshmana

तस्मादपरितापस्संस्त्वमप्यनुविधाय माम्।प्रतिसंहारय क्षिप्रमाभिषेचनिकीं क्रियाम्।।।।

tasmād aparitāpaḥ san tvam apy anuvidhāya mām |

pratisaṁhāraya kṣipram ābhiṣecanikīṁ kriyām ||

അതുകൊണ്ട്, ഞാൻ വ്യസനരഹിതനായിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നീയും ദുഃഖമൊഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുക; എന്നെ അനുഗമിച്ച് അഭിഷേകത്തിനായി ഒരുക്കിയ കര്‍മ്മങ്ങളെ വേഗം പിൻവലിക്കൂ.
