The Consecration of Rama’s Sandals and Bharata’s Trusteeship at Nandigrama
आरुह्य च रथं शीघ्रं शत्रुघ्नभरतावुभौ।ययतुः परमप्रीतौ वृतौ मन्त्रिपुरोहितैः।।।।
āruhya ca rathaṃ śīghraṃ śatrughnabharatāv ubhau |
yayatuḥ paramaprītau vṛtau mantripurōhitaiḥ ||
ശത്രുഘ്നനും ഭരതനും അത്യന്തം സന്തോഷത്തോടെ വേഗത്തിൽ രഥത്തിൽ കയറി; മന്ത്രിമാരും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ചുറ്റിനിൽക്കെ പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
Highly pleased, Bharata and Satrughna ascended the chariot and, surrounded by counsellors and priests, set out speedily.
