नानावृष्टिर्बभूवास्मिन्नदुर्भिक्षं सतां वरे।अनरण्ये महाराजे तस्करो नापि कश्चन।।।।

Transliteration

nānāvṛṣṭir babhūvāsmin na durbhikṣaṃ satāṃ vare |

anaraṇye mahārāje taskaro nāpi kaścana ||

Translation

സത്പുരുഷന്മാരിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ മഹാരാജാവ് അനരണ്യൻ ഈ രാജ്യത്തെ ഭരിച്ചപ്പോൾ ഇവിടെ വരൾച്ചയുമില്ല, ദുര്ഭിക്ഷവുമില്ല; ഒരൊറ്റ കള്ളനും പോലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.
