शततमः सर्गः — Rāma Questions Bharata on Rājadharma

कच्चिदार्यो विशुद्धात्मा क्षारित श्चापरकर्मणा।अपृष्ट श्शास्त्रकुशलैर्न लोभाद्वध्यते शुचिः।।।।

kaccid āryo viśuddhātmā kṣāritaś cāpakarmaṇā | apṛṣṭaḥ śāstrakuśalair na lobhād vadhyate śuciḥ ||

കച്ചിത് സദാചാരിയും വിശുദ്ധഹൃദയനും ആയ ശുചിയായ പുരുഷൻ—മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ ദുഷ്കൃത്യത്തിൽ നിന്നുയർന്ന അപവാദം കൊണ്ടു നിന്ദിക്കപ്പെട്ടാലും—ശാസ്ത്രത്തിൽ നിപുണരായവരോട് ആലോചിക്കാതെ, ലാഭലോഭം മൂലം, അന്യായമായി വധിക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ലല്ലോ?
