सीताया धर्मोपदेशः—शस्त्रसंयोगदोषकथा
Sita’s Counsel on Dharma and the Peril of Weapon-Association
स्त्रीचापलादेतदुदाहृतं मे धर्मं च वक्तुं तव कः समर्थः।
विचार्य बुद्ध्या तु सहानुजेन यद्रोचते तत्कुरु मा चिरेण॥
strīcāpalād etad udāhṛtaṃ me dharmaṃ ca vaktuṃ tava kaḥ samarthaḥ |
vicārya buddhyā tu sahānujena yad rocate tat kuru mā cireṇa ||
സ്ത്രീസഹജമായ ചാഞ്ചല്യത്തിൽ ഞാൻ ഇതെല്ലാം പറഞ്ഞു പോയി; നിനക്കു ധർമ്മം ഉപദേശിക്കാൻ ആര് സമർത്ഥൻ? അനുജനോടുകൂടെ ബുദ്ധിപൂർവ്വം ആലോചിച്ച്, നിനക്കു യുക്തമെന്നു തോന്നുന്നതു വൈകാതെ ചെയ്യുക.
O Rama, lord among men, you hadn't it (lust for other women) in the past. You havn't it now. Never does it exist even in your mind.
