The Severing of Kabandha’s Arms and the Opening of Dialogue
तच्छ्रुत्वा लक्ष्मणो वाक्यं प्राप्तकालं हितं तदा।उवाचाऽर्तिं समापन्नो विक्रमे कृतलक्षणः।।।।
tac chrutvā lakṣmaṇo vākyaṃ prāptakālaṃ hitaṃ tadā | uvāca ārtiṃ samāpanno vikrame kṛtalakṣaṇaḥ ||
ആ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ, ലക്ഷ്മണൻ ദുഃഖത്തിൽ ആകുലനായിരുന്നെങ്കിലും ധൈര്യവും വീര്യവും ഉറപ്പാക്കി, യോജിച്ച സമയത്ത് ഹിതകരമായ സമയോചിത വാക്കുകൾ പറഞ്ഞു.
