अयोमुखी-दर्शनम् तथा कबन्ध-प्रवेशः

Ayomukhi Encounter and the ظهور of Kabandha

नानामेघघनप्रख्यं प्रहृष्टमिव सर्वतः।नानापक्षिगणैर्युक्तं नानाव्यालमृगैर्युतम्।।3.69.6।।दिदृक्षमाणौ वैदेहीं तद्वनं तौ विचिक्यतुः।तत्र तत्रावतिष्ठन्तौ सीताहरणकर्शितौ।।3.69.7।।

nānāmeghaghanaprakhyaṃ prahṛṣṭam iva sarvataḥ |

nānāpakṣigaṇair yuktaṃ nānāvyālamṛgair yutam || 3.69.6 ||

didṛkṣamāṇau vaidehīṃ tad vanaṃ tau vicikyatuḥ |

tatra tatrāvatiṣṭhantau sītāharaṇakarśitau || 3.69.7 ||

മേഘഘനത്തെപ്പോലെ ഘനമായി തോന്നുകയും എല്ലാടവും ഉല്ലാസഭരിതമായി കാണപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്ത ആ വനത്തിൽ നാനാവിധ പക്ഷികളും സർപ്പങ്ങളും മൃഗങ്ങളും നിറഞ്ഞുകവിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. സീതാഹരണവേദനയിൽ പീഡിതരായി വൈദേഹിയെ കാണുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ച ആ രണ്ടു സഹോദരന്മാർ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും നിൽക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു കൊണ്ട് ആ വനത്തെ മുഴുവനായി തിരഞ്ഞു നടന്നു.
