सीतान्वेषणविलापः

Rama’s Lament and Search for Sita

उपालक्ष्य निमित्तानि सोऽशुभानि मुहुर्मुहुः।अपि क्षेमं नु सीताया इति वै व्याजहार च।।3.60.2।।

upālakṣya nimittāni so 'śubhāni muhur muhuḥ | api kṣemaṃ nu sītāyā iti vai vyājahāra ca || 3.60.2 ||

അശുഭ നിമിത്തങ്ങൾ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും കണ്ടറിഞ്ഞ് അവൻ വ്യാകുലനായി സ്വയം പറഞ്ഞു: “സീതയ്ക്ക് സത്യമായും ക്ഷേമമാണോ, അവൾക്ക് അനർത്ഥമൊന്നുമില്ലേയോ?”
