अरण्यकाण्डे एकोनषष्टितमः सर्गः

रिपुः प्रच्छन्नचारी त्वं मदर्थमनुगच्छसि।राघवस्यान्तरप्रेप्सुस्तथैनं नाभिपद्यसे।।।।

ripuḥ pracchanna-cārī tvaṃ mad-artham anugacchasi | rāghavasyāntara-prepsus tathainaṃ nābhipadyase ||

നീ വേഷംമാറി സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന ശത്രുവാണ്; എന്റെ കാരണത്താൽ പിന്തുടരുന്നു. രാഘവനോടു വിരോധമായി ഒരു വിടവ് തേടുന്നതിനാൽ നീ ഇപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോകുന്നില്ല.
